Bibhuti Bhusan Pradhan (April 3, 1957 - August 24, 2016) was a powerful Odia short story writer whose untimely death left a vacuum in Odia story-telling. His published books are Jatra (2012), Daha (2012), Dheu (2012), Hacking (2016), Ardhasatya (2016), Nata (2018) and Galpa samagra (2018). He received Odisha Sahitya Academy award in 2013 for the novel Dheu.
