Prayer walking is a method of intercessory prayer that involves walking while praying at the location of the prayer journey. Prayer walking is a way of being on the scene without making a scene. It could also including riding, jogging, boating, biking, or any other means of transportation. Dan R. Crawford is professor of Evangelism and Spiritual Formation and Chair of Prayer and Spiritual Formation at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. He is the author of DiscipleShape, The Prayer-Shaped Disciple, and Night of Tragedy, Dawning of Light. He has led numerous extended prayer walks throughout Asia. Calvin Miller is professor of Preaching and Pastoral Ministry at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the author of numerous books, including the best selling, The Singer and The Singer Trilogy.
