This exploratory, descriptive, participatory and plural methodological research investigates the particularities of the Carnival Previews in João Pessoa, Paraíba, understood as a festival capable of mobilizing a large flow of people and generating income, the result of cultural production, a symbol of the Pessoa Carnival. Erika Silva has a Specialization in Local-Based Tourism from the Federal University of Paraíba (2012), a Technologist in Geoprocessing from the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of Paraíba (2013), and a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism from the Institute of Higher Education of Paraíba (2010). His research focuses on culture, the environment and geoscience.
