Field experiments were conducted to evaluate the different system of irrigation, fertilization and biostimulant spray and its effect on growth, yield, physiological and nutritional parameters in Jasminum sambac cv. Ramanathapuram Gundumalli at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India during the year fromm 2009 to 2011. Observations were recorded on the growth, yield, physiological, nutritional parameters and soil enzyme activity.Drip fertigation with 100 per cent recommended dose of fertilizer (60:120:120g NPK/ha/year)in combination with foliar spray of humic acid 0.4 per cent and 3 per cent panchagavya at monthly intervals was found to be the best for J.sambac which showed improvement in growth, physiological, nutritional and quality parameters over other treatments. With regard to the post harvest chemical treatment, it is recommended to treat the flower buds with 4% Boric acid to extend the post harvest shelf life of J.sambac flowers.
