This piece is the result of an academic research finding aimed at improving the reproductive potentials of the rabbit bucks in the developing countries where there is indiscriminate mating of bucks based on the assumption that just any male rabbit will perform satisfactorily. This work had disproved this notion; thereby, proffering a scientific approaching to resolving the problem of inbreeding common in rabbit farming in this region. Improvement in reproductive potential has the advantage of desirable rabbit production among the teeming population of households from this region of the world and consequently helping in combating the problem of protein intake shortage.
