The study demonstrated that unpolluted environment, climate, calm atmosphere and safety are considered as strong cognitive attributes of North Cyprus. The weak attributes are lack of shopping facilities, lack of seasonal festivals and museums.

Mona Bouzari es profesora adjunta en la Escuela de Turismo y Gestión Hotelera de la Universidad Europea de Lefke, en el norte de Chipre. Obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad del Mediterráneo Oriental, donde estudió Gestión del Turismo. Sus intereses de investigación abarcan el comportamiento organizativo, el desarrollo profesional, el compromiso laboral y los recursos humanos.
