Preparation of chitosan from larvae of housefly (Musca domestica)

Chitosan is a non-toxic and biodegradable organic polymer derived by simple chemical treatments from chitin, a major source of which is the leftover shells of crustacean seafood, such as shrimp, prawns, crabs, and lobsters. Production of chitosan from a different source is important, House flies are deposited about l00-l50 eggs by each female on appropriate food. they gave a lot of larvae of the housefly.

I was born in Damascus in 1987. I finished my master¿s degree on 2013 in Department of Biology - Faculty of science - Damascus University. I have been working as a supervisor to the practical lectures at the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Medical at Damascus University.
