Teaching instruments are an essential component of teacher preparedness, lesson development, curriculum implementation and evaluation of instructional outcomes. Teacher factors has the potential to influence teachers' instructional practices. However, little had beendone to show how teacher factors could influence their preparation of teaching instruments, hence due to this unclear situation; there was a need to conduct the current study. Thus the purpose of the study was to evaluate preschool teacher factors influencing their preparation of teaching instruments (PTI) in Kesses Sub-County, Uasin Gishu, Kenya. Before establishing factors that may influence teachers' preparation of teaching instruments, the current study first focused on the establishment of the type of teaching instruments prepared by the preschool teachers and supervision of preparation of the instrument by head teachers.
