Preparing My Heart for Easter is an eight week Bible study for women focusing on the women who followed Jesus during His life and death and how he worked in their lives. We see the resurrection backwards. We are influenced by knowing the end of the story. What would it have been like to be a woman in the crowd during Jesus' day experiencing great hope, and then great loss, unable to comprehend that He would return? Why were these women so devoted? Why were the women at every step of the journey? Discover the answers by meeting the women whose lives He touched. You may relate to someone whose life He changed and realize He can change yours too. And like the women of His time, our eyes will be fixed on Him as He journeys to the cross and beyond. Each lesson ends with practical thoughts or ideas to put Jesus' words into action.
Autorenporträt
Ann Marie Stewart has authored three Bible studies that helped establish the Preparing My Heart series (AMG Publishers). She writes the column "Ann's Lovin' Ewe" for The Country Register and blogs for "Mentoring Moments." Her first novel, Stars in the Grass (Shiloh Run Press), was released in February 2017, and quickly became the 2017 Christy Award winner for Debut Novel. When she's not writing, she's waving her arms directing musicals, teaching middle schoolers, or watching UVA Basketball or Madam Secretary. In her free time she hangs out with her husband, raising two lovely daughters and a whole flock of fuzzy sheep on Skye Moore Farm, in Virginia - where unscripted drama provides plenty of entertaining material.
