It is an interdisciplinary work in which ecological issues such as the contamination of water sources and the exchange of knowledge through focus groups are merged with issues related to microbiology such as the identification of total and fecal coliforms and the risks they have on public health. In order to generate knowledge about the quality of water resources and the lettuce marketed at the Rubí farm; to know the perception of farmers and consumers about this problem; and finally to propose strategies focused on five objectives of Agenda 30 of the United Nations to reduce the negative impacts.
