Autorenporträt
Tillmann Damrau, born in 1961, is an artist. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. Since 2016, he has been a full professor at the Department of Art and Material Culture of Technische Universität Dortmund. He received numerous invitations for lectureships, lectures, and workshops in Germany and abroad. Within the research-project 'e-transform', he examined pictorial strategies enabling transformation processes in energy supply. His principal subjects are visual culture, image theory, pictorial strategies, and iconic narration.
