Produktbeschreibung
The focus of this work is the analysis of presentation software and alternative possibilities of presentation support, especially in a combination with gestural interfaces. The gesture controlled prototype of an alternative presentation support software, which is developed in the course of this work, is analysed and evaluated in this regard. The numerousness of presentations held and heard make is necessary to design the presentation software in an effective way so both the audience and the presenter can profit from it. Presentation navigation, features for highlighting important parts of the content as well as the now popular use of gestural interfaces are emphasized in the development and analysis of the prototype. The points at issue are the construction of an easy to build and easy to use data glove as well as the creation of an effective gesture controlled software for interaction with slideshows. The prototype is evaluated by conducting video observed user tests where the users have to perform specified tasks with the prototype, interviews with the six test users as well as with consideration of usability aspects.
