Christian Hoffmann studierte Theater- und Sozialpädagogik. Er ist Inhaber von SpielPlan - Spiel und Theater für Organisationen und Lehrbeauftragter an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin und an den Fachhochschulen in Berlin und Potsdam.
