Asthma and allergies are on the rise around the world, in developed countries and even in developing countries. We undertook this work with the objective of evaluating the prevalence of asthma and allergies, and to determine the risk factors involved in these increases among 3341 children aged 6 to 7 schooled in Algiers, using the methodology of the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC). The children presenting during the last 12 months wheezing and/or rhino conjonctivitis and/or atopic dermatitis are convened in hospital medium, they will undergo a clinical examination, a respiratory functional exploration (EFR) and a allergologic exploration by prick-test cutaneous with common aeroallergens. Through this work our perspectives are the development of a health program for asthma and allergies in children, which allows an improvement in the patient's quality of life, a reduction in the morbidity of the disease, and a decrease in the prevalence of allergies, or at least a decrease in severe forms.
