The present study is undertaken to find out the prevalence of CHD and coronary risk factors among a random sample of size 326 urban females population of Jaipur using the recently developed criteria of investigation. The study is also aimed at determining the prevalence of various standard and unconventional risk factors of CHD in this urban population. The study is designed to investigate people at random and to cover large and varied areas of Jaipur in the Rajasthan State of India with a view to include persons from all walks of urban life.
