This leads to feeling of neglect among students with learning disability, drops out from the school, emotional and behavior problems and might be antisocial behavior. The present study helps in recognizing the proportion of rural school going population in Punjab affected by learning disabilities so that steps can be taken to improve the system of education delivery and achieve equality in education for all by adopting various teaching methods e.g.: Combined integrated learning program (CILP), use of flashcards with reading racetrack, problem solving approach, computer assisted cognitive training.This study aims to find out the prevalence of learning disability specific to middle aged school going children by using LDDI.

Miss Irwanjot Kaur was born in the city Sangrur of Punjab, India. She is graduated in Bachelors of Physiotherapy and later did her Masters in the field of Neuro physiotherapy from Punjabi University Patiala. She also worked for more than 3 years as a Physiotherapist in Black Elephant Army School, Patiala.
