The purpose of the present study was to find the prevalence of osteoarthritis of knee in Kanpur. In this cohort study, the case record of physiotherapy OPD of Saaii College of Medical Science and Technology, Kanpur were analyzed from the period of January 2008 to December 2010. A total of 35 different varieties of cases attained during that period. The conclusion of this study reveals that prevalence of knee osteoarthritis is higher than any other conditions in Kanpur. Average age of patient with osteoarthritis was 52.32 (±5.54), where female were found more susceptible for this condition.
