Born in 1991 in Côte d'Ivoire, Dr. Oumou MAIGA is from a Malian family. Interested in virology during her studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Bamako, she joined the UCRC/Mali for her final thesis. She obtained her PhD in Pharmacy in 2022. This book is a summary of her work on SARS-COV-2 variants.
