Eva Gross is a senior fellow and head of the research cluster on "European Foreign and Security Policy" at the Institute for European Studies (IES), Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Daniel S. Hamilton is director of the Center for Transatlantic Relations and executive director of the American Consortium on EU Studies. Claudia Major is deputy head of the International Security division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs in Berlin.
