Tanya M. Hargat was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. She is a practicing Registered Nurse in Massachusetts. Tanya earned her undergraduate degrees in Business Management, Nursing, and Theology. She completed her graduate studies at Apostolic Christian Theological Seminary earning a Doctorate in Theology. Painting, science fiction, and classic comedies are three additional passions. With that in mind, if Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, from the popular classic comedy show I Love Lucy, could have had roles on the classic Star Trek television series, Tanya may never have left the T.V. as a child. Tanya began creatively writing during the years she homeschooled her three children. Ideas scribbled on pieces of paper and half-finished manuscripts were tucked away until now. She enjoys telling stories that will nourish readers spiritually as she takes them on a journey of imagination, illustration, and introspection.
