Lesley Pecharich lives in the small rural town of Clarkdale, Arizona. As a child, Lesley had many pets and always loved animals. She has had many dogs and cats but her little miniature schnauzer Pepper inspired her to create the Princess Pepper series. Lesley received her undergraduate degree in education from Northern Arizona University. Lesley has been an educator for many years and enjoys reading children's literature. As a reading interventionist, Lesley understands the importance of having many books to read that are engaging and exciting for young readers to have in their hands.
