This study was carried out to investigate the Effect of Demonstration Method of Teaching on Students¿ Achievement in Basic Electricity Technical Colleges. Five research questions were answered and four hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study used quasi experimental research design which employed pre-test post-test and control group. The population of the study was made up of 78 National Technical Certificate II (NTC II) Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work and Radio and Television Repairs students in the 2012/2013 session. The instrument for data collection was a 40-item achievement test, validated and tested for its reliability and administered on the entire population. The mean and standard deviation and z- test were used for the data analysis. The reliability of the instrument was determined using Cronbach alpha. The developed instrument yielded a Co-efficient Alpha of 0.96, therefore, the developed instrument was judged to be reliable.
