True that Dhaka continues to ensure means of sustenance for its inhabitants but in lieu she is losing her ecological balance.The open places where the citizens have opportunities to meet are being reduced.The main purpose of this study has been to illustrate the open space facilities of Dhaka City and by whom this facility is contributing to the human behavior. It will describe the government s authority who maintains open spaces of Dhaka city. Besides, from the point of view of the people using these open spaces, the existing problemsand their opinions are also examined. This study also shows the drawbacks of open spaces management country.
