The study was designed to assess the problems facing women participation in income generating projects in Njombe District, Njombe region, Tanzania with the intention of formulating recommendations for strategic support interventions to improve advocacy and their access to services in their dire need to improve their production in their projects. The study sample comprised of 110 respondents to collect the needed primary data. The data collected included personal characteristics of the respondents, Financing women business start ups and working capital, women loan processing period from financial institutions, reasons for not applying for a loan, women income generating projects by type, training provided to women in income generating projects, women achievement from their projects, problems facing women in income generating projects, and solutions to overcome the problems facing women in Income generating projects. All these data were collected through various methods including questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
