This study was based on the problems of street hawking by children. The Study set out to find out the perception of Secondary school teachers in Ilorin metropolis irrespective of their age range, marital status, sex, Religion, Educational qualification and number of children to street hawking by children. Six null hypotheses were formulated and tested using t-test statistical method and Analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results indicated that there is no significant difference between teacher of different age range, educational backgrounds, marital status (Single and married), religion and number of children in their perception of the factors responsible for street hawking by children. This indicated that five out of the six hypotheses were accepted while there is a significant between male and female teachers in their perception of factors responsible for street hawking by children. Finally, some important recommendations were made by the researcher to government, professionals and the society at large on how street Hawking by children can be eradicated. Also, further recommendations for further research studies was also made by the research.
