He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from UTM Johor, Malaysia, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, the UK. His areas of interest in study include aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, and renewable energy. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international and national journals. He has been actively involved in research initiatives mostly financed by the governments of Malaysia and currently funded by Japan Government. He had also completed more than ten industrial consulting projects. Associate Professor Dr. Ir. Shabudin Bin Mat obtained his Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from UTM, Malaysia, in 1997. He then continued his Master in ENSICA, France, in 1998. He obtained his Ph.D. in low-speed aerodynamics from the University of Glasgow in 2010. He was in the VFE-2 panel from 2005 to 2010 where he was introduced to delta wing aerodynamics. He has published more than 80 papers in the field of aerodynamics of delta wing. He is currently supervising students in experimental aerodynamics and wind engineering. Currently he is Director of UTM Aerolab, one of UTM Centres of excellent. Dr. Shabudin Bin mat also is Registered Professional Engineer with Malaysian Board of Engineer (BEM) and United Kingdom Chartered Engineers.
