Dr. Vinay Kumar Midha is Professor in the Department of Textile Technology, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (India). He earned M.Tech and Ph.D from IIT Delhi after graduating from REC Jalandhar.His academic and research experience spans over 27 years and he also has one year of industrial experience. His specialization and fields of work are: Sewing dynamics, Nonwovens, Geotextiles, Healthcare and Hygiene Textiles and Textile Project Management. Seven students have been awarded PhD under his supervision and seven students are presently working under him for PhD. He has contributed 75 research papers in International and National peer-reviewed journals. He has presented 50 research papers in international conferences of repute. He has written eight book chapters in Woodhead Publications & CRC press. Three patents have been filed by him, out of which one patent on 'Inpatient Shifting Device and Method of Use' has been granted. Dr. Satyadev Rosunee is Associate Professor of Applied Sustainability in the field of Textiles and Entrepreneurship at the University of Mauritius. Satyadev earned his Ph.D. from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST, UK), Masters from Leeds University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Textile Technology from M.S. University, Baroda, India.Satyadev was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering from 2015 to 2018 and Founding Member of two departments namely: Department of Textile Technology (1990-2012) and Department of Applied Sustainability & Enterprise Development (2012-now). Satyadev has supervised 9 Ph.D.s, awarded by the University of Mauritius. He has published about 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is passionate about sustainability as a change agent and entrepreneurship in order to drive positive change among university students, the leaders and policy makers of tomorrow. Dr. Sachiko Sukigara is Professor in the Department of Advanced Fibro-Science, Faculty of Fiber Science and Engineering, Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan. She earned a Master's degree in Home Economics at Nara Women's University specializing in Clothing Science. She earned her Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Ron Postle at the University of New South Wales, Australia.Prof. Sukigara has been Director (2011-2013) and President (2018-2020) of the Textile Machinery Society of Japan. She is a prolific researcher and has published 110 scientific journal papers in the field of Textile Science. She has supervised 13 Ph.D. students and 53 Masters students. She is interested in the human fabric evaluation by using both subjective and objective evaluation methods.
