Gary M. Gurtler, S.J., is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Boston College. He has published on ancient philosophy, with special attention to Neoplatonism, including a book, Plotinus: The Experience of Unity (1988). William Wians is Professor of Philosophy at Merrimack College and adjunct professor at Boston College. He writes on ancient philosophy, particularly Plato and Aristotle. His collection Logos and Muthos: Philosophical Essays in Greek Literature was published by SUNY Press; a second volume is in preparation. Contributors: Hayden W.
