Autorenporträt
Dr. Bedangadas Mohanty is currently a Professor at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, India. He leads the experimental heavy-ion physics program at NISER and is instrumental in international collaborations-STAR at BNL, USA, ALICE at CERN, Geneva, CBM at GSI, Germany and SuperCDMS at SNOLAB. He is a Recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, 2015 and the INFOSYS Prize in Physical Sciences, 2021. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India (NASI), Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) and the American Physical Society (APS). Dr. Sanjay Swain is currently a Professor at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, India. He leads the experimental particle physics program at NISER and is instrumental in international collaborations - CMS at CERN and  NOvA at FNAL, USA. He is also the Dean of Research and Development at NISER. Dr. Ranbir Singh is currently a Scientific Officer at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, India. He is the deputy team leader of NISER group participation in ALICE at CERN, Geneva and CBM at GSI, Germany. Dr. Varchaswi K S Kashyap is currently a Scientific Officer at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, India. He is involved in rare event search experiments like SuperCDMS at SNOLAB, MINER at Texas A&M, other reactor-based neutrino physics in India as well as CBM at GSI, Germany.
