This manuscript reports process capability analysis of a carburetor and throttle body manufacturing process. The study is focused on computation of process capability indices with the help of collected data, and provide solutions of problem identified. Process capability is the ability of the process to meet the desired value. The capability analysis defines how the product specifications relate to the inherent variability in a process. Controlling of quality is a major priority for the manufacturing companies. The accuracy of machined parts is the result of properties and characteristics of the total machining system and its environment. For this purpose statistical process control is a very effective tool.
