Kathy Mazyck is an author of fiction, nonfiction, essays, and journals. She has always been fascinated with reading books, poetry and history that was published during the Renaissance Era as well as the Civil Rights Movement. She believes the creativity was fresh and free during that time. Her favorite writers include Lanston Hughes, Lorriane Hansberry, Zora Neale Hurston, and Countee Cullen. Kathy is presently an Educator with Jersey City Public Schools for over twenty years. She is also a professor with City-Wide Evangelistic Institute.
