The present work aims to create a physical model of a process pipeline system, a model that allows studying the operating behavior of the composing elements. The analyzes are carried out based on ASME B31.3 and EN 13480 design codes, and the results are compared with experimental values determined with electrical-resistive tensometry. The necessary costs for the fabrication of the stand and the steps for the physical realization, from design stage to experimental tests, are also presented.Structured in eight chapters, this book emphasizing both the component elements of the pipeline systems as well as the methods available to perform flexibility analyses.
