The author was born at Awassa, Ethiopia. He graduated from Awassa University, Master of Science in Plant- breeding in 2008. He working at Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural research/ Jimma Agricultural Research Center as Associate researcher and Coordinator of Root, Fruit and Vegetable crops research case team.
