In the Central African Republic, the savannahs and forests abound in a diversity of non-timber products that contribute to the economy of rural households and to the strengthening of food security. These include the shea tree, known by the scientific name of Butyrospermumparkii and the local name of balawa. In view of the potential of the shea butter sector and the current artisanal production methods that hinder the development of this sector, the question arises as to What strategies should be put in place so that the creation of a cosmetic soap manufacturing unit based on shea oil in Bossangoa is technically and financially profitable? The general objective assigned to our work is to study the feasibility of a cosmetic soap manufacturing unit based on shea oil in Bossangoa. Indeed, the market analysis presents the potential offer of the unit estimated at 72,000 pieces of soap per year, which is 3/4 of the unsatisfied need according to our field surveys, while the technical analysis shows that the unit will have a maximum production capacity of 316,000 soaps per year, which is 2/3 of the need. The conditions and the execution of the project are favorable.
