The present work aims at the implementation of Production Planning and Control in a company of the wood sector, through the application of a methodology that follows seven interconnected steps addressing issues such as production systems and simplicity. For its realisation, bibliographical research was made about the theme and periodic visits to the company collecting data through analysis and interviews, soon after a schedule for applying the methodology was idealized. It was also sought to make an analysis of the production systems, which was important to direct the implementation methodology and achieve the purpose of carrying out this work with the aim of reducing waste and losses, in addition to preparing the bases of implementation a PCP system (software).
