This research is part of the annual project of the Observatorio Iberoamericano de la Ficción Televisiva carried out by a team of associated researchers, in which 12 countries participate. In addition to the interests of this group in the study of the different television grids of the different countries in the light of a specific topic of analysis, a special chapter was devoted to the impact of teleseries and telenovelas on young audiences in Colombia from an educational perspective based on a pilot literacy test for the critical reception of television in public schools in the district.
