The objective of this work was to determine the best oviposition substrate among the three used for adults that remained together until the death of the partners by evaluating the life span and oviposition of the adults and the number and hatching rate of the eggs laid by the females. The best egg-laying substrate among those used was cane. The hatching rate, on the other hand, is stagnant at around 50% and needs to be improved.
