The methodology used was framed within the quantitative research approach, the design used was non-experimental, cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 38 Pasco nursing students who developed the university social responsibility program during 2018.These results were observed: 55.26% of the nursing students reflect high professional identity, 31.58% medium professional identity; and, 13.16% low professional identity. Likewise, with respect to the management of university social responsibility in nursing, 65.79% of the students are very empowered, 26.32% are empowered, and 7.89% are not very empowered.This leads to the conclusion that professional identity and the management of social responsibility are significantly related with a moderate intensity.
