They was well aware of the importance of taking into account all the diverse factors that influence learning: it s necessary to provide training closely linked to students professional daily lives, that it was fundamental to establish a climate of acceptance and trust in the classroom, and pay close attention to interaction with students at the same time as guiding them in carrying out the tasks that would enable them to build knowledge, etc. These were factors we was used to taking into account when delivering classroom training but we soon realised that they were also important in my role as an online teacher. I was surprised to discover that technology offered both the students and me the tools needed for mediating in teaching- learning processes, without losing the quality of human contact.
