The present work deals with Field Education. Through it, we sought to conduct a survey on the profile of a group of students entering the degree course in Field Education at the Federal University of Tocantins, especially at the Arraias campus, southeastern region of the state. The intention was to try to understand what the profile of the students entering the course was, what led the students to choose the area, where they came from and what their perspectives of human and social development were. The work is based on theorists such as: Santos (2017), Sales (2018), Rodrigues (2009), among others and is divided into three chapters, in addition to the final considerations. As results it was possible to know in a more particular way the student of the course and obtain information that may help managers and teachers, basing practices that promote a better use of resources and efforts invested in the development of the course.
