Knowledge is the determining factor in the professional position of people, since education plays a preponderant role: skills and abilities of human beings on which the greatest structural transformations of all times depend. The research conducted analyzes the evaluation of a program for the development of formative thinking in students in the tenth year of basic education. Formative thinking is produced in all areas of knowledge and can have diverse applications in mental life, it reaches the social and interpersonal domain, it is related to creative abilities, to behavior, helping human beings to adapt to reality in their socio-cultural context.
