Dr. Yangambi holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, USA. He is Professor at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Educational Sciences at the National Pedagogical University in Kinshasa - Ngaliema in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
