The work aims to analyze the contribution of management to the economic viability of projects financed under the District Development Fund in the Locality of Chinjinguiri - Homoíne. From the methodological point of view, it privileged the qualitative research, complemented with the review of the specialized literature, not only that, twenty farmers from the family sector also participated in the study through the semi-structured interview and the focus group. The results of the research indicate that the district development fund has not contributed sufficiently to poverty alleviation, since the empirical data show the prevalence of poverty in that locality, contrasting with the official speeches that imply that poverty is decreasing.
