Merrie Barron PMP, CSM, PMQ is the Portfolio Manager in the Energy Safety Research Institute (ESRI) (http://www.esri-swansea.org/en/), while Professor Andrew Barron (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_R._Barron) is the Director. The authors currently co-manage the £12 million Reducing Industrial Carbon Emissions (RICE) demonstration project (http://rice.cymru/en/) within ESRI. They co-developed the first cross-disciplinary course across the Colleges of Science, Engineering and Management at Rice University.
