The study in question focuses on the Architecture Project Subjects of the Architecture and Urbanism Course, with the aim of demonstrating the importance of qualifying architects for one of their professional duties, which is teaching, by means of the skills and competences that are required to carry out this role, as well as suggesting some teaching-learning strategies that can be applied to Architecture Project Subjects. This research is based on bibliographic and documentary sources, in which various authors from the fields of education and architecture were consulted, as well as documents related to the course curriculum and pedagogical project, and a research instrument was used which, when applied to teachers and students on the course, can outline the professional profile of the design teacher, as well as identify some issues related to the teacher's procedures in the development of the Architecture Design Discipline.
