Autorenporträt
Dawn Miller was raised within the United Church of Canada. Her father was a minister, as had been her grandfather. She spent her first years in several towns on Vancouver Island and the Lower Fraser Valley of British Columbia. She took teacher training at the University of British Columbia. Following a few years of teaching, she married Barry Miller, a Saskatchewan farmer. They raised their somewhat unusual family on the Canadian prairies. During that time, they eventually began attending the Mennonite Brethren Church and were active in it for many years. When they retired, they moved to Surrey B.C., where they lead Bible studies and care home ministries.
