Very limited researches have been done to find out the sustenance of traction effect, even that the methodological quality of the studies is not satisfactory. The standard of the studies are important for making a clinical decision and it will reduce the expense of the treatment and time. Still we don't have strong evidence about influence of adjuvants used along with traction especially Short Wave Diathermy (SWD). Many physiotherapists are prescribing spinal traction along with SWD without knowing the interface of each modality. Hence through this work we are providing solution to above problem with proper evidence.
