Ahmed Abdo grew up in South West Sydney, Australia where from an early age realised the importance of connecting to traditional methods of transmission of Islamic knowledge. After completing his undergraduate studies, he travelled in 2005 to the blessed city of Tarim in Yemen to learn receive sacred Islamic knowledge at an Dar al-Mustafa, a well known and respected Islamic Seminary. During his course of studies in Dar al-Mustafa, Ahmed studied the core Islamic sciences including Arabic grammar, jurisprudence, theology, prophetic traditions and spiritual wayfaring, with a particular interest in the area of Islamic Jurisprudence.After returning to Australia in 2014, Ahmed continued to transmit the knowledge he received through lessons, courses, camps and retreats - locally and abroad. He also fulfils the role of a Chaplain, using Prophetic principles and models to bring spiritual care to people of all faiths and cultures.
