The choice of a profession or trade cannot be the result of the influence of the media, the fruit of a whim, or the product of children's fantasies. The vocational decision is a whole process that must bring with it an educational dimension, because it involves the processes of teaching and learning, knowledge of motivations, personal self-knowledge and a recognition of reality.From the educational point of view, using didactics as a tool, students must be helped in the recognition and development of their competences, generating awareness of the demands of the century in which they live and contextualizing them in a dynamic society, which demands that technological advances be put at the service of the generation to which they belong, without allowing themselves to be inadequately influenced by the information that these advances offer them. In this way, the student will be able to contribute positively to the economic, social, cultural and ethical development of society, regardless of the role he or she chooses to play.
