The problem of youth employment remains a global concern, and its resolution will contribute to providing solutions to other problems, notably food security, migration and poverty. The model that is proposed to the National Agency for the Promotion of Youth Employment in Senegal is developed in a university setting, in this case the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis in Senegal. It thus helps public authorities, development partners, business creation support structures such as incubators and business incubators, as well as young people to have a specific model for business creation in the field of agribusiness. This book elucidates for its readers the important role that agribusiness can play in job creation. We base our hypothesis on the fact that accompaniment increases the chances of survival of enterprises or start-ups, and it is with good reason that we draw inspiration from the accompaniment programs of ANIDA, ANPEJ and PRODAC in order to propose a specific model for the creation of jobs and wealth.
